This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and hands-on skills to perform competently as a skilled Phlebotomy Technician. Students will receive a solid background in the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology of venipuncture, professional patient relations, accurate record keeping, standard precautions and safety regulations (OSHA). Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to take the optional National Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) Exam.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
-must be 16 years or older
-must provide proof of education (High School Diploma or GED)
-must provide photo ID
